Quilting

Home after a fantastic weekend away with my dear friends on a quilting retreat weekend. We ate delicious food prepared especially for us, talked textiles, laughed and had the occasional glass of something lovely and of course worked hard. Thanks so much to Fiona and Dave for hosting and Rebecca our patient teacher. Until the next time. 

Now all I want to do is start my top stitch quilting homework - but Maurice has a different idea!

All set up and busy, busy busy at the Great Northern Craft Fair.

Machine embroidery in Sussex

I have had a busy and very inspiring couple of days stitching, making and merriment, firstly with members of the Worthing Embroiderers Guild, and then with another lovely group at West Dean college. Its been a fantastic time spent amongst stiching enthusiasts who have all confirmed my thoughts that there is truly nothing more magical than all stiching and making together. Happy days!

Emails ahoy!

At last I am live again with my website and my emails, technology is a wonderful thing when it works, it's been a very frustrating time!  Along with being back online I also find myself with a box of 12 krispy kreams, it's either going to be a long afternoon or a very sugar induced one!

Whilst visiting the lovely stitching, embroidery and quilt groups and guilds in the south west I had an opportunity to visit the beautiful cities of Exeter and Bath, still as exciting, inspiring and gorgeous as I remember them.
